  1. The impact of the blast knocks you to the ground and leaves you stunned.
  2. You notice blood on your face as you lie on the ground, and you wonder
  3. if you cut yourself falling.  Then you realize that the blood is coming
  4. from your ears and your eye sockets.

  6. As you begin to black out, you strain to hear the sound of the emergency
  7. medical siren, but then you realize that you've probably been deafened
  8. by the sonic boom.  You croak a cry for help, but you can't hear your
  9. own voice....
